Review of 2987 Kalakaua Avenue, Unit 705.
We recently had the great pleasure of staying at a very nice condominium in the Diamond Head area of Honolulu. The location was perfect, nestled in the peace and quiet of Kapiolani Park, but just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki strip. This is the nicest two-bedroom condominium we have leased in the “Gold Coast” area. It is the penthouse, on the beach, directly facing the ocean with a priceless view of the sunset, the surfers, and the every-changing Pacific Ocean.
The living room is quite large. There is a bar height table and chairs set up against the open lanai, directly facing the ocean, which we called “the bar”, where we took our cocktails and coffee in the morning. The living room couch is super-comfy, set back to enjoy the view, or to watch the mammoth 66-inch TV. The dining room table seats six people. The kitchen is very functional, featuring a Sub-Zero refrigerator. Extending from the kitchen is a long pantry with lots of storage space for groceries and the many appliances that all come with the unit. We loved the master suite which is at the back of the unit, whose sliding windows open to a view of the ocean, and more importantly, the roar of the surf. How we loved sleeping with the sound of the ocean! The bed is a California king and there is a spacious alcove with a built-in desk and office area complete with WiFi, where I could put my laptop. If you watch TV in bed, a new 55-inch TV is there for your enjoyment. The bathroom is beautiful: dark marble surrounding the walk-in shower, and a double sink with lots of drawer space. The closet is huge, plus there are more drawers for storage than in my bedroom back home. The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, with its own connected bathroom with a walk-in shower, a modern sink, surrounded by the same dark marble. And more closet pace and drawer space than anyone could possibly fill! Although we didn’t use them, there are two separate air conditioning systems: one for the bedrooms and one for the living room, kitchen and dining room.
If you have stayed in the Diamond Head area before (which we have) you know that parking places are at a premium. This condo has two parking places, one in the garage, and one in front of the building. We had friends come over to visit us during our stay and they parked in front of the building in our reserved spot.
This place is perfect in every way. I will be back again next year. It has my highest recommendation.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be emailed 60 days prior to check in date. If you email your cancellation 60 days before your check in date you will receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 60 days are subject to forfeiture of full deposit and any other monies you have paid for your dates that you have reserved. We will try to re-rent your dates reserved so that we can make a refund to you.

However, if the dates are not re-rented, your monies paid will be forfeited
